The Newspack Themes include a few locations where you can add your publication’s logo:

You can add your own Site Logo to the theme by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to Customize → Site Branding.
  2. Click on Select Logo.
  3. Drag and drop your logo to upload it, or select an existing logo file from your Media Library.
  4. Click Select.
  5. If needed, adjust the cropping of the logo file. Otherwise, click Skip Cropping.

Once the logo is added, you can use the ‘Logo Size’ slider to adjust the logo’s size up and down:

When a logo is in place, you can optionally hide the Site Title and Tagline from displaying the header by unchecking Display Site Title and Display Tagline.

By default, your Site Logo will also be displayed in the footer when you have footer widgets. You can use the Footer Logo option to upload a different logo to that space by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to Customize → Site Branding.
  2. Under Footer Logo, click Select image.
  1. Drag and drop your logo to upload it, or select an existing logo file from your Media Library.
  2. Click Select.
  3. Adjust the cropping of the logo file, and click Crop Image.

This logo will appear in the footer area next to your Social Links menu:
